There’s no IAMX on Spotify, which is a real shame…
Wait a minute! Now comes the standard problem with different regions. In the Swedish Spotify there are two IAMX albums.

I’ve got the full Oasis catalogue available on Spotify in Norway, so at least they don’t want Norwegians to pirate them…
No RHCP, Until last week there was no MSI, but 1 album and 1 single now up. DJ Fresh is on there but not in the UK. I guess thats why tpb is still popular
If you edit your preferences you can see what songs are available in Spotify, but are geographically restricted.
Just uncheck the “Hide unplayable tracks”.
Then the unavailable (geographic, premium-only etc) titles will show in red text.
French removals include a large chuck of Serge Gainsbourgs best stuff, and everything by Francois Hardy
Most of Spandau Ballet’s back catalogue disappeared today :/ Fortunately, the ‘classics’ are on compilations that are still available
On the other hand OPM have arrived.
Other artists who have disappeared from UK are ‘The Hot Toddies’ (‘HTML’ was an office fave)
I have a shared playlist called ’100 Rock n roll hits’, it’s gradually shrinking – down to 83 tracks now.
FYI Oasis personally own the rights to their music in the UK, but outside of the UK it is owned by the labels, whic his why we can’t get Oasis on spotify in the UK, but everyone else can.
There’s not a lot of industrial out there, I wanna listen to music that I never hear on the radio!. I can’t get any Flesh Field ANYWHERE these days.
I noticed Mistabishi’s album DROP was added in November, is now unavailable, but it doesnt say UK, just not available as if no-one can listen to it.

STAUBGOLD label : half of the catalog removed (I suspect the rest will follow), ie F.S. Blumm, Sun, Pedal, Gunter Adler, Autistic daughters etc.
WILD MAN’s BAND (w Peter Brotzmann) : Three rocks and a pine
Arbitrer recordings : the “world catalog” took a blow (Lost sound of the Tao, Roots of Gamelan, Dancers of Bali, Ancient court raga traditions, etc, all vanished)
INDIAN music : yep, there are deletions around here too
L Subramaniam Maestro’s choice removed, Zakir Hussain’s “sangeet Sartaaj” “Sur saaz aur tal 3″ no longer here…
Adventurous & super elitist music lovers, you thought if wouldn’t happen to you ? think again :

.Modern Art Guitar Quartet is no longer on spotify either…
minimalist/post-minimalist/neo-classical/whatever adorators ? I hope you didn’t like that much Eight Blackbird ensemble, coz all their discs were removed.
Bassy music ? El Carincero “Butcher ep” just disappeared too.
Lo-fie indie ? too bad, Crystal slits “alight of night” evaporated too..
Klezmer lovers ? Damn, most of Andy Statman discs were Spotixterminated (Between heaven and earth, klezmer suite, andy statman klezmer orchestra…)

this week, it’s the INNOVA catalogue that was partially removed. from Carleton Macy to Stuart Hyatt to Pastice to the industrial jazz group to william C. Banfield and so on, no more on spotify…
Did they decide to concentrate on major labels crap only or what ??
Feeder aren’t on there either. Except one song I think which must have shared copyright.
And “Punchline”, none of their songs from the “Fueled By Ramen” label are on there, despite other bands from the same label being there.
Jonathan Coulton can be stricken from the list, his album “Joco Looks back” is now available on Spotify.
Band of Horses was removed months ago – sorry if someone has already said this, but they aren’t on the list.
