I recently bought a Logitech Harmony One universal remote to replace my aging Marantz RC2000 Mk2. It’s a bit pricey, but I’d recommend it nonetheless.

Setup is easy – took me about half an hour set it up to control my TV, amp, CD player, XBox, and Virgin V+ cable box. The Marantz couldn’t handle the V+ so I was well pleased that the Harmony One could.

I’m now down to two remotes – the Harmony One and a Sony BD Remote (Bluetooth) for the PlayStation 3.
